Hey, everyone. I ordered a set of the Walking Dead Funko Mystery Minis on eBay, the Series 2. I thought it would be fun to open them up and take a look at them on camera here, and I can share them all with you guys.

I bought this set because the guy had a decent price on them. It was more cost effective than buying a case and then hunting down all the rare figures which I like to do, but I don’t want to also go broke on these mystery figures here. This is a good way to get this set.

It’s got all of the rare bloody variants. It’s got all of the Hot Topic variants. Supposedly, he sent them in these plastic cases here. He got them all packed up nice.

Here we go. One at a time, we’ll take them out. Look at that. It’s nice. He’s got them in a nice plastic case there. I’ll take them out so you guys can see them. They shouldn’t be too hard to open.

We’ll start with I guess the main character himself. We’ve got Rick. Here it is with his gun. He stands. A lot of times they don’t stand too good. He has his hand on his hip there. Is he poseable at all? Nope. Let me not break it. He’s not pose-able at all, but that’s cool. He’s one of the common ones. I believe he’s 2 in 24 which makes sense. He’s the main character.

Who else we got in this box here? Well, you got Rick and the you got his son Carl here. There he is. Thank you eBay guy. He packed this nicely so they made it here safely. There’s the back of Carl there. He’s got a set of keys. I thought it was a gun, but it’s not. I’m pretty sure there’s variant of those in here.

Who do we have next? Character we all love to hate, the Governor. I believe he is common too, and there is a variant of him as well. Looks like he’s wearing his … looks like a sweater vest or something there, his watch. He’s got a gun holster and his knife. It’s a nice detail on the figure there. There he is looking quite menacing.

All right. Here’s the first Rick variant. I believe this is one of the Hot Topic exclusive variants. It’s bloody Rick. He’s been bloody certainly about a hundred times in the show. There he is. There’s the back of him there. There he goes.

There’s quite a few of the bloody variants. The bloody variants, they’re cool. I mean, it’s neat that they do that I guess, but they’re not that exciting because there’s an easy to get a variant.

Now, this one is pretty cool. This is the burnt charred walker, so it looks like he’s been through a fire. If we get a nice close up on him, there’s lots of nice burns and grooves on him and it really looks like he’s been burnt up pretty good. He’s got the back there. You can see his ribs exposed. You can see it on the front, too. He looks pretty cool. He looks pretty messed up there. Even if he’s all burnt up, I still would not want to encounter him. Whoops! He just killed Rick. There you go. Stand up there, Rick. Heck with you.

Now, we’ve got a pair of zombies here. This is the jawless girl zombie and then the Hot Topic glow-in-the-dark variant of the girless, of the jawless girl zombie. I don’t know what a girless zombie would be. I guess maybe a no zombie. There you go. I’m not sure. I think these are both common as well. I think the glow-in-the-dark is a little harder to find at Hot Topic. I don’t have the rares list in front of me. I knew what some of the super rare ones are, so I mention that when I pull them out.

Let’s see. We’ve got Michonne and her bloody variant. I’m pretty sure that the bloody variant of Michonne is the rare one. Now, see here is what’s interesting. Let me take a look at these real quick. It’s essentially the same figure, but this one is bloody and she looks angry. This one is not bloody and she looks pretty happy about that. I guess she killed a few zombies, and she’s all fired up and angry and intense. That’s an interesting variant that they would just kind of change the facial expression there. It is what it is.

Here’s one of the 1 in 144 ones. This is the bloody Governor with his bloody knife there. Otherwise, he looks pretty much the same. Actually not. They did the same thing. He’s got his mouth open there with an angry expression. Here, he just has his mouth closed with a slightly less angry expression. The Governor was never really happy on the show, I don’t think. I guess it’s appropriate that he’s not looking too pleased there.

Who else do we got in here? We’ve got another Hot Topic variant. This is bloody Carl. You can see him there. Carl just took out two zombies. Good job, Carl. There’s the back of him there. Otherwise, he looks pretty much the same.

Again, I’m a completest with these figures. I like having the whole set. I think these bloody variants, they’re not essential. They’re neat. The characters are obviously covered in blood all the time in the show, so it makes sense. It’s really not a huge difference that they’re both so cool you have to have both of them.

Here’s an empty case. We’ll figure out who came out of there in a second. Now, we’ve got … These are the, I guess, shotgun through the eye zombie. I don’t really know what to call this one. Here’s his glow-in-the-dark variant. The glow-in-the-dark I think is 1 in 72. I know the bloody Governor is 1 in 144. He’s one of the super rare ones. The glow-in-the-dark zombie is one of the rare ones.

It’s neat. I put these on display, and it’s neat to turn off the lights at the end of the night and all these are glowing along with some of my other glow-in-the-dark figures from my other sets. I look the glow-in-the-dark variants. Again, not essential. Neat but not too different there.

Let’s see. We’ve got more in here. Here’s another empty case. I guess these guys popped open. I don’t know. Here’s another bloody Michonne, I guess. I don’t really understand how that works. I put her with these other ones.

Wait a second. We have happy Michonne, bloody happy Michonne and then angry bloody Michonne. She’s a popular character. I didn’t realize there were 3 variants of her in the set, but there she is. If you’re a huge Michonne fan, you’ve got some hunting to do.

I believe 1 of these is a Hot Topic exclusive, but I’m not sure. Actually, no. They’re not. Sorry. I correct myself. The Hot Topic exclusives are the glow-in-the-dark jawless girl zombie, the bloody Carl and the bloody Rick, so these are all available on the set. I know one of them is a 1 in 144. I think it is. I’m not sure which one. That’s kind of confusing there. There they all are. There’s all the different Michonne variants.

This is one of my favorites. I’ve been waiting to get this one. In a plastic case too. This is the orange glow-in-the-dark variant of the charred zombie there. I think he’s really cool looking. I like the color on him. I wish I could get it dark enough here to see if he glows. I think that’s really neat, a really cool variant. I believe he’s 1 in a 72 too. He’s one of the rare ones. I like him a lot. He’s one of my favorite. I just like the orange color on him. It looks kind of gross, but it’s cool.

All right. Now, I know there’s someone still missing. Are they in here? Yup, that’s what I’m looking for. Here we go. I knew we had Daryl, and we have bloody Daryl, and we have regular Daryl with his crossbow there. You can see if I turn him around, he’s got his wings on the back of his jacket there. That’s kind of cool.

I think Daryl is one of my favorite characters on the show. I think he’s just about everybody’s favorite. I think he’s the one character, if he got killed off, everybody would riot. I expect to see him around. I think bloody Daryl is one of the rare ones, too. It seems that’s what they do. The bloody variants and the glow-in-the-dark variants tend to be the rare ones with these Funko Mystery Mini sets. That’s Daryl.

We’ve got 2 more figures. I really like what they did with this. These are Michonne’s pets. There they are. One with dark blue jeans and one with light blue jeans. I think they’re otherwise rather similar. Their shoes are different, too, there.

You can set this up kind of Michonne kind of in front of them there like she’s walking with them like she does on the show. That’s pretty cool. I think it’s neat that they did that and have her with her zombies. Maybe the bloody Michonne or the angry Michonne would be better with the zombies. I don’t know. It’s neat that they included her pets.

They’re each a common figure. They come separately, but that’s a neat detail that they did. It’s cool. That will look cool on the shelf displayed and everything.

That’s it. I believe that’s 19 figures, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 19. That’s all of them. That’s the whole set.

I didn’t collect the first series right away because it was all zombies. I love me some zombies, but I wanted some characters from the show. I like in Series 2 here, they actually did a bunch of characters from the show that I like. I think that’s a better mix. Throw some cool zombies in there and throw in the characters that we love. Now, that I have Series 2, I’ll get Series 1, too because I have to have them all since I’m just like that. Plus, it will be fun to do an unboxing video of that.
